Recent investigations at a stately home in Oxfordshire where there had been an illegal connection made from a commercial kitchen into the surface water system.
We removed a huge build-up of fat from the system and used CCTV to ascertain the layout of the drainage network.
Safe to say they are lucky not to have a sanction as the surface water is being discharged into a nearby brook. Further work is needed to rectify the issue, along with clearing some areas of severe tree root ingress.
